Planting the Urban Orchard

UC Green has been planting trees and engaging community volunteers in Philadelphia since 1998. And this Fall they are ready to take their street tree planting efforts one step further by planting fruit and nut trees along the streets of West and Southwest Philly! In partnership with the Philadelphia Orchard Project, UC Green will plant 100 new fruit and nut trees that will add to the urban orchard and provide foraging opportunities for years to come.
