Midwest One Local Summer: Week 9

Tuesday, August 04, 2009

Columbus Foodie and Laeroport take center stage as the only Midwest OLS participants to post an entry in Week 9.  Columbus Foodie tempts us with a Cuban Panini made with ham and roast pork from Thurn’s, rolls from The Andersons, and Guggisberg Swiss Cheese.  Laeroport offers a vegetarian option in the form of a delicious sounding pizza with juliette tomatoes from Moon on the Meadow CSA, and fresh mozzarella from Bradford Cheese on a homemade crust from the Artisan Bread book made with Hudson Creme Flour.

Support a local farmer, crave the freshest produce, worry about what's in or on your food - whatever your reason for eating locally grown and produced food in the Philadelphia area, Farm to Philly is probably writing about it. We're focused on where to find it, how to grow it, and what to do with it!
