CSA Report: Blooming Glen Farm

This week’s share is definitely the most colorful so far this season, with yellow and orange edible marigolds, pink and green Swiss chard, a rainbow of colors in the pick-your-own wildflower bouquet, green herbs and scapes, and tri-color tomatoes.  Yes, tomatoes—I could hardly believe it!  It seems early, but looking at last year’s shares, I see that it was almost this exact date last year and in 2006 when we received our first batches of tomatoes.  Hm… it’s as if our farmers KNOW WHAT THEY’RE DOING
