Fahnestock Fruit Farm: the larger (ginger gold) apples
North Star Orchard: the smaller (summer blaze) apples, the pears, the carrots, and the red peppers
Quaff Meadows: eggs and hot peppers

I am thrilled that it’s apple season.  Last week’s apples, my first of the season, barely lasted through Wednesday, so I got a few more this week.

The apples look awesome! We’re thinking of hitting Linvilla this weekend for some sort of picking.  The apple picking is supposed to be excellent right now.

Nicole, if you get apples, do post or e-mail about the specific varieties--I looked them up the other day, and Linvilla’s summer apples aren’t any varieties I’ve seen at the markets around here.

Aye aye!  I picked some last year, although not until Fall.  I haven’t had their summer apples.
